Art direction, photography, printed catalogue
Ardent throws vases and tableware in a studio on the edge of the city.
We photographed the potters at work over three days, by the tall windows in the morning and under the desk lamps after dark, and designed a printed catalogue for shops.
The catalogue opened the door to their first stockists abroad.
We showed the hands that make the work, not only the finished pots.
The evening pictures use only the studio's own desk lamps, which is when most of the glazing happens.
