Naming, signage, room keys, menus, walking guide
Saltmarsh is a twelve room hotel in a former school on the coast of Zeeland.
We named the rooms after the tides, designed the signs, keys and menus, and wrote a small guide to the walks nearby.
The hotel opened fully booked for its first season.
Guests now find their room by the tide it is named after.
The room signs are cast in clay from the local brickworks and set into the old school walls at hand height.
